We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Help with the cooking process under the supervision of chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is prepared and stored safely. Support catering events by preparing and packing meals as required. Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to senior staff. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal service.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is desirable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
