Kitchen Assistant - Part time

About us;

The Castle, Islington is on the famous Pentonville road. With our stunning roof terrace & bar, we cater for fabulous summer parties & events, while also keeping our traditional pub feel with cosy & welcoming in our main bar downstairs. Our menu changes with the seasons, but always a vibrant twist on British classics. We're looking for energetic hospitality superstars with BIG personalities, and in turn, we'll make sure you have all the knowledge you need in food, wines, beers & cocktails to move forward with us. You'll need to keep up with a fast paced environment when needed, ensuring every guest has the best & most memorable experience with us.


We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant that isn't afraid to get stuck in loves a deep clean, works well with a small team and is looking for experience to further their career in kitchens.

We are looking for an existing Kitchen Assistant or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who considers themselves to have a passion to work within a reliable team that delivers high quality standards. We need hard-working and dedicated people behind the scenes to help our restaurants run smoothly and to ensure that they are always clean and tidy. As the successful Kitchen Porter you will:


Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team Have high standards and a great work ethic You will show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills Be working alongside your kitchen team and will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
