Duties



Assist with meal preparation and food presentation under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Support catering events by preparing ingredients and setting up workstations Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times Help with inventory management by organising supplies and ingredients Serve food to customers or staff as required, ensuring proper presentation and portion control Support the team during busy periods by providing additional assistance in various kitchen tasks Assist with basic cooking tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling dishes

Requirements



Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Basic understanding of meal preparation and food presentation techniques Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills and take on varied responsibilities within the kitchen setting Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service and teamwork

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Experience:

Making coffeee, sandwiches, cocktails etc : 1 year (preferred)
