We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. This role involves assisting with meal and food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with recipes and safety standards Support the catering team during events and daily service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met Help with food storage, organisation, and inventory checks Serve meals to guests or customers as required Follow food safety protocols at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage Support the team in cleaning up after service, including washing dishes and disposing of waste appropriately Assist with general kitchen organisation to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures Familiarity with meal preparation and food safety standards Experience in serving or front-of-house roles is a plus but not essential Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and supporting team members
