We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist chefs and cooks in meal preparation and cooking processes. Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling of all food items. Help with the setup and breakdown of catering events as needed. Support the culinary team in various tasks as directed, contributing to a collaborative kitchen environment. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is highly desirable. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to help in various kitchen tasks are crucial for success in this role. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
