Kitchen Assistant (Maternity Leave cover)- required for friendly small care home in Largs
Fun and friendly care home with positive links to the local community is recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant who can support the residents and care team, and be flexible with the work that they undertake.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of meals according to dietary preferences and restrictions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of food
Skills:
- Some experience in meal preparation
- Basic Food hygiene
- Good organizational skills to maintain cleanliness
- Attention to detail in following instructions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
Knowledge of COSHH, and infection control procedures
This role is for 38 hours per week - 4 x10 hour shifts, and is to cover maternity leave (could lead to permanent post)

Pay: 12.21 per hour
