Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support catering services for events and functions, ensuring timely delivery of meals Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment Help with food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of ingredients Serve food to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages Support the team during busy periods by performing various kitchen tasks as required

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field Basic understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary
