Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and basic dishes under supervision Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Help with serving food to customers or staff as required Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with set-up and clean-up

Qualifications

Previous experience in a catering, restaurant, or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Basic cooking and meal preparation skills Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good organisational skills with attention to detail Enthusiasm for learning about culinary arts and food service operations

Pay: 22,000.00-30,000.00 per year
