Key Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation and basic cooking under the guidance of the kitchen team
Prepare ingredients including washing, chopping, and portioning
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as required
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Support the team during busy service periods and catering events
Serve food to customers or staff when needed, ensuring excellent presentation
Assist with stock checks and report any shortages to management
Requirements & Skills
Previous kitchen experience or basic culinary training is preferred but not essential
Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Experience in a restaurant, takeaway, or catering environment is an advantage
Strong organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure
A positive, reliable attitude with a willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
