Kitchen Assistant

to help us spread the melt magic across the city.

What You'll Do

Ensure everything's spotless and organized (we take pride in our space!) Help create the tastiest grilled cheese sandwiches in New Castle Bring energy, teamwork, and good vibes to every shift Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor. Support the cooking team in preparing dishes according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting low supplies.

A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
