Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Newcastle city centre. This role is vital in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food to our customers. Located in the heart of Newcastle, this position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a young and ambitious company.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking to support daily kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen. Ensure food safety regulations are followed at all times. Support the team with meal assembly and presentation. Stock and organize kitchen supplies efficiently. Help with serving food to customers when needed. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently. Contribute to a positive team environment focused on excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Prior experience in catering, cooking, or a restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Enthusiasm for learning and developing culinary skills. Flexibility to assist with various kitchen tasks as needed. A positive attitude and commitment to quality service.
