Job Overview

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team at Blue Print Pizza. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting our experienced kitchen team in preparing high quality food and delivering smooth service in our busy town city centre restaurant.

Duties

Operate the kitchen fryers and assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager. Support the cooking process by following instructions, recipes and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout all kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred. Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning from others.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
