Kitchen Assistant

Offering 37hours per week, including alternate weekends, at an hourly rate of 12.35.

An opportunity has arisen to join our hardworking catering team at The Mayfields care home, you will be assisting the Head Chef in providing, managing, and developing a high-quality catering service to approximately 60 residents, plus guests and visitors of this wonderful care home.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation, cooking and, attractive presentation of all meals. Prepare vegetables and salads, snacks and drinks for service. Regularly interact with residents to gain their feedback. Deliver beverage/food trolleys between meals. Ensure the smooth transfer of supplies, goods and equipment between storage and work areas. Ensure the safe operation of all kitchen equipment in accordance with the appliance instructions and company policies and procedures.
