We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support the catering team during events and daily service periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times Help with serving meals to guests or customers as required Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage organisation Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary arts is key Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team Flexibility to work during busy periods, including weekends if required

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
