We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients. Support cooks and chefs during meal preparation by following instructions accurately. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Help with the setup and breakdown of catering events as required. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is preferred. Basic cooking skills or knowledge of culinary techniques would be beneficial. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment is crucial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.49 per hour
