The Role
You will be working alongside professional chefs in providing a positive dining experience for our residents. Key responsibilities include washing pots and pans, loading the dishwasher with used crockery and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy for the Chef. Also assisting is simple food preparation where necessary ensuring food and hygiene safety standards.
The hours will be:
Monday: 14.00-18.00
Tuesday, Friday and Saturday: 09.30-17.30
You will need to communicate with head chef, nurses and care staff to ensure the needs of the residents are met.
As well as professional catering practices, you will develop team skills related to working in care settings.
