We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards Support the catering team in preparing ingredients and organising kitchen stations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Serve food to customers or staff as required, ensuring presentation standards are met Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and storing ingredients appropriately Support the team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as needed Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation processes Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and food service Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
