Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and sanitizing kitchen equipment
- Help with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure food safety standards are met by properly storing, handling, and labeling ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is beneficial
Skills:
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and presentation of dishes
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff
