We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation Support chef with cooking tasks as required, following recipes and instructions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Help with serving meals during busy periods, providing excellent customer service to guests Participate in stock management by assisting with inventory checks and reporting any shortages to management Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in catering settings Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork skills, demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to learn from others Ability to follow instructions accurately while also being proactive in assisting chefs as needed
