Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking and meal assembly Support chefs with cooking tasks, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and utensils Follow food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all food products Help with serving meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers Participate in catering events as required, assisting with set-up and service Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including roles in catering or restaurants Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety regulations Culinary experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
