Duties
Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Support chefs and kitchen staff in catering events and daily restaurant operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Help with serving meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the head chef.
Participate in maintaining a hygienic environment by cleaning utensils, equipment, and work surfaces regularly.
Skills
Previous kitchen experience or culinary experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Experience in catering or restaurant settings will be an advantage.
