We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and meal service run smoothly. Duties
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately.
Support the cooking staff by ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available during service.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is prepared and stored correctly.
Assist with serving meals to customers or guests as required, ensuring a high standard of presentation.
Participate in catering events as needed, helping to set up and break down service areas.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal delivery.
