Duties
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and in good working order.
Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies.
Ensure waste is disposed of properly and recycling practices are followed.
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by providing additional assistance as needed.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in catering events as required, ensuring timely service of meals.
Skills
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is advantageous but not essential.
Basic culinary skills with a keen interest in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
