Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. The successful candidate will assist with meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support the catering team during daily service, ensuring timely delivery of meals Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are upheld at all times Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage of ingredients Assist with washing up, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately Support the team during busy periods by performing various kitchen duties as required

Experience

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety standards, and kitchen hygiene practices is advantageous Experience in food preparation or culinary roles will be considered a plus No formal qualifications are required; however, a genuine interest in food service and willingness to learn are essential Prior experience in serving or working within a busy kitchen setting will be beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
