We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring timely and efficient service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Help with the storage of ingredients and supplies, including proper labelling and rotation Serve food to customers or staff as required, ensuring presentation meets quality standards Assist in cleaning dishes, cookware, and kitchen appliances after use Support the team during busy service periods by preparing ingredients or performing auxiliary tasks as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Basic culinary skills such as meal preparation and food handling Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food service Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

Work Location: In person
