Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food presentation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards Support the kitchen team with food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Assist in serving meals to customers or staff as required Organise stock and ensure ingredients are stored correctly and efficiently Support catering events by helping with setup, serving, and clearing away

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques Experience with food preparation and kitchen organisation Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Enthusiastic attitude towards learning new culinary skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
