Job Summary:

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable

Kitchen Assistant

to join our team. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean and organised kitchen, assist with food preparation, and support the chefs in day-to-day operations. This role is essential to ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing ingredients (e.g., washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables). Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic at all times. Load and unload dishwashers or wash dishes manually. Store food items properly and check for freshness. Assist chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed. Dispose of waste and ensure proper recycling procedures. Clean kitchen equipment and appliances. Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Good communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
