Job Description
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our Flagship Tap, Crown Wharf, Stone.
As we continue to grow and develop, our General Manager Emilee is looking to expand our fantastic team! We are searching for professional and hands-on Kitchen Assistant with excellent communication skills and a real passion for pubs and beer.
Here at Joule's, we are relaxed pub professionals, executing proper pub standards, providing attentive and genuinely friendly service all whilst creating a hub of sociability and banter.
What you'll get up to:
Performing all cleaning, washing and preparation duties required in kitchens Assisting the Head Chef and team with all necessary tasks to ensure the kitchen operations runs smoothly and efficiently Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas Assisting in meal preparation, includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping ingredients. Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies and inventory.
The ideal candidate will have:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience working in a kitchen (preferred but not essential)*
Exceptional hygiene standards Ability to follow instructions and work within a team Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills Availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
