Kitchen Assistant

to join our busy team.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting the smooth and efficient running of our kitchen. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen

, ensuring all workspaces, equipment, and surfaces are kept to a high standard throughout the day.

Supporting health and safety and food hygiene practices

, following procedures and assisting the team in meeting all regulatory requirements.

Pot washing

- this will be one of your primary daily duties, ensuring all cookware, utensils, and crockery are cleaned promptly and efficiently.

Assisting with basic food preparation

, including helping with home-baked items such as scones and other simple kitchen tasks.

Providing general support to the kitchen team

, especially during busy periods.

Being trained as a kitchen team member

, enabling you to support the team during staff holidays or when additional help is required. With a view to take on regular kitchen shifts
