Location: Overley Hall, Wellington, Telford TF6 5HD
Hours: Part-time - Monday to Wednesday 9am to 2pm including every 4th Sunday, additional overtime available.
Salary: Living wage

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking

Kitchen Assistant

to join our friendly catering team. This is a key support role in helping prepare and serve meals and maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas Support with stock rotation and safe food storage Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Comply with food safety and health and safety procedures Work collaboratively with the cook and other team members

What We're Looking For:

Previous kitchen or catering experience (preferred but not essential) A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work as part of a team An understanding of dietary requirements (desirable) Flexibility - some weekend or evening work may occasionally be required Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable individuals
