We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meal services. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food presentation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards Support chefs with ingredient organisation and storage, maintaining proper food safety protocols Prepare ingredients by chopping, peeling, and measuring as required for various recipes Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with hygiene standards Serve meals to customers or staff in a courteous and professional manner Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas before and after service Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination Support inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food preparation is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous Basic cooking skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary A positive attitude and willingness to learn about culinary processes and customer service

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
