Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring timely service Support chefs and kitchen staff with daily tasks, including chopping, mixing, and plating Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety standards Organise ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient workflow Help with serving food to customers or guests as required Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with event setup and breakdown

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety procedures Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills and attention to detail Willingness to work with various tasks as needed within the kitchen setting A positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.71-13.14 per hour
