Wymondham College Prep School opened in September 2020 on the site of Wymondham College, with two Reception classes, a total of 60 pupils. In September 2021 we opened our doors to our very new Prep School building, as well as our new boarding facilities, Underwood Hall.
We believe that every child deserves to be provided with outstanding quality, not only in education but also in the services provided. To facilitate this, we are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant who will support in the provision of catering services throughout the school day.
Wymondham College Prep School is a member of the Sapientia education Trust (SET), a expanding education trust consisting of 13 Primary and 9 Secondary schools.
THE POST
We are looking for a positive and hard-working Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Wymondham College Prep School on a permanent basis and support the catering team.
The successful candidate will: Clean, use and care of the equipment and premises;
Preparation and cleaning of the dining area;
Serving meals and refreshments to students and staff.
Helping prepare food and meals as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
Have a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism.
Have excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour.
Have the ability to work in a team.
