About us

Cafe @ Number 16 is a busy coastal Cafe in Aberdour providing a fresh food offering for dine in, takeaway and outside catering. Located on Shore Road near to Black Sands beach, we are open Wed - Mon (closed Tuesday) from 10am - 4pm.

We are looking for a confident, trustworthy, honest and reliable Kitchen Assistant / Cook with a good work ethic and initiative to join the Cafe 16 team.

Responsibilities:

Assisting Chefs in food prep and cooking Expedite food Cleaning dishes and replenishing Keeping the kitchen clean and stocked Provide holiday cover for other kitchen team members

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or cafe environment
- Ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks

Job Types: Part Time Permanent

Pay: Minimum Wage Plus Tips

Expected hours: 18 - 24 (3/4 days per week over 7) but potential for more
