Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and presentation. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour
