We are seeking a talented and passionate kitchen assistant to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to ensure availability of ingredients.
Assist in the planning of special events and catering services as required.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to management promptly.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food preparation methods, and culinary trends.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
