Job Summary:

We currently looking for a Kitchen Assistant for our AirThrill site in East Kilbride and want to add a fun, energetic, positive and dedicated staff member to our Kitchen Team!

Our kitchens offer a set menu, done to a high standard. We offer an environment that teaches people how to use their skills in a high paced service environment and use basic knife skills, basic sauce skills and pizza rolling skills within our prep times. We uphold all kitchen procedures and follow strict a food hygiene policy. Teaching all staff how to identify holding levels, stock rotation, ordering process, HACCP, COSHH and time management within the kitchen environment.

The position we have available is based on peak times for the business which is mainly weekends and school holidays, making this job opportunity perfect for a candidate that need some flexibility during the week as we would be full flexible around anyone's needs, wither it would be studying, childcare, caring for someone or anything else.

Our kitchen teams are all lead by experienced Managers in our purpose built facilities that boast full kitchens, simple but good quality menus, along with ongoing training and support to ensure our Chefs are well equipped and successful within their role.

Key skills:

Experience working in a similar role/business. Excellent customer service and team work skills. Meticulous when it comes to cleanliness and food safety Working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained. Prepare and serve meals, including pizza, while adhering to customer service excellence. Utilize knife skills for efficient meal preparation and presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
