Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, ensuring all food is prepared in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management. Assist with menu development and special dietary requirements as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
