Full time kitchen assistant required to work in busy, city centre cafe.
Duties include: food prep (ie. chopping vegetables, grating cheese, making sandwich fillings etc), garnishing plates, making sandwiches/wraps/paninis during busy lunch services, cleaning the kitchen and adhering to food hygiene and safety regulation.
Previos experience in a Cafe/Kitchen would be preferred but not essential as training will be given. Applicant needs to have a good work ethos. Applicant must be able to work varied shifts including weekends (not every weekend). Shifts vary between the hours of 7.45am and 6.30pm approx. Rate of pay is above min wage. Tips are shared out equally over the whole team.
