Overview:
Join our team as a Cook/Kitchen Assistant and showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while adhering to food safety standards.

MAIN DUTIES:

Working as part of a team to prepare and deliver exceptional food. Prepare all food items as directed in a clean, tidy and timely manner. Follow recipes and presentation standards. Ability to operate all the kitchen equipmentwith the correct training in a safe and proper manner. Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment. Assist with safe storage of deliveries. Ensure that all food is stored in the correct manner and that stock rotation is properly carried out. Be aware of Health and Safety at Work and Hygiene regulations Understand and control stock in your particular area of the business ensuring wastage is controlled. Practice good personnel hygiene at all times to comply with company policies.
About you:

Passionate about working in hospitality. Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment. Great eye for detail and take pride in delivering well presented and tasty food. Willing to work in different sections and kitchens and have good all-round knowledge of a kitchen. Be organised and able to work under pressure. Team player essential with a flexible andadaptable approach to work. High level of professionalism. Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen Certificate. Good personnel hygiene. Good communication skills.

Pay: From 12.25 per hour
