We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and a keen understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation is completed in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service periods.
Help in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation.
A team player who can also work independently when required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
