We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant who has the ability to cook to assist in organising and controlling the efficient and economic production of quality food within the allowed budget, whilst maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
Required:
Team player
Satisfactory Policy Check and check against the PoVA list
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Good communication skills
Previous experience relevant to the position
Experience of food preparation for the relevant Service User group
Will stand in for the cook / chef when on holiday
Level 2 food hygiene preferred
Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
Prepare ingredients and meals according to recipes and dietary requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and improve workflow.
Uphold the standards of the Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate in all kitchen activities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.44-12.80 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
