Job Summary
We are looking for a kitchen assistant/delivery driver at our base kitchen in Devizes.
This position is during school term time only.
Duties
Safely operate a vehicle for the delivery of meals to various locations. Ensure that all food items are properly packaged and maintained at the correct temperature during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and addressing any queries or concerns. Assist in meal preparation and food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery schedules are met. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies. Report any issues or incidents related to deliveries, including vehicle maintenance needs.
Experience
Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
Work Location: In person
