We are seeking a reliable Kitchen assistant and Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting food and catering supplies to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation during transit.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver catering orders, meals, and supplies to clients at designated locations Ensure all deliveries are completed on time, maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism Assist with loading and unloading food items, ensuring they are handled with care to prevent damage or contamination Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any special requests or concerns Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle at all times Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards during transportation Keep accurate records of deliveries made, including times, locations, and any issues encountered

Skills

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable Knowledge of meal preparation, food preparation, and kitchen procedures is beneficial Familiarity with food safety regulations and serving standards Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanour Valid driving licence with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and handle multiple deliveries in a busy schedule
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food service who enjoy driving and providing excellent customer experiences. All positions are paid in accordance with employment regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 12.21-16.00 per hour
