Responsibilities

Washing, cleaning, and sanitising all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and equipment Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision Supporting chefs with ingredient organisation and stock replenishment Ensuring the kitchen area is kept clean and tidy at all times Managing waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintaining hygiene standards in line with food safety legislation Assisting with general cleaning duties within the restaurant or hotel premises as required Supporting the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous Familiarity with kitchen safety and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good organisational skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills and take on varied responsibilities Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required
