We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Assistant/ Trainee Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will not necessarily need a strong background in food production and preparation as Training will be given.
Ideally will have a passion for working with fresh produce, and enjoy cooking and presenting food.
Most importantly they will want to learn and improve any existing skills they have.
They will need to maintain a high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food preparation meets quality standards.
Participate in food preparation and cooking
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
Monitor inventory levels, assisting in ordering supplies as needed to ensure availability of ingredients.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
We are looking for a open mined and enthusiastic individual who enjoys and is passionate about food.
Hours of work will be morning and lunchtime service in the week, and at least one evening shift as well. They will also need to cover sickness and Holiday so flexibility is important.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 18 - 28 per week
