We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen & Bar Manager to oversee our food and beverage operations and ensure a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food and beverage management. As Kitchen & Bar Manager, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily bar and kitchen operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
Manage and train bar and kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels to minimise waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area and cellar in accordance with company policies.
Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and budgeting for bar operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and production techniques.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
Demonstrated expertise in hospitality practices, serving techniques, and customer service excellence.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Previous kitchen management experience is mandatory. Barista training is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff alike.
