We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hard-working team members to join our team at The Three Arches for a Christmas Temp Role. As a Pub Team Member, you will contribute to providing excellent service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring that all guests have a positive experience. Whether working in the front of house (FOH) or back of house (BOH) teams, you will be an essential part of supporting daily operations and helping us maintain the high standards of hospitality our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
Front of House (FOH) Duties:
Greet and seat guests, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Take customer orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen or bar.
Serve food and drinks, ensuring high standards of presentation and service.
Manage tills, process payments, and handle cash accurately.
Assist with cleaning and setting up tables and areas for guests.
Provide knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverage options.
Maintain a clean and organized dining and bar area, including restocking supplies.
Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional manner.
Work collaboratively with fellow staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Back of House (BOH) Duties:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items in line with the pub's standards.
Ensure food is cooked and stored safely and complies with all health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep areas, and storage rooms.
Restock supplies as needed and manage inventory.
Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties during and after shifts.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is used properly and maintained.
Help with food preparation and portioning, including salads, garnishes, and other items as required.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (for BOH roles) or bartending (for FOH roles) is a plus.
Please note, these are Christmas Temp positions and will require availability over the Christmas period. Candidates not intending to be available for the weeks surrounding christmas need not apply
