At Caterline Commercial Kitchens Ltd, we've been designing, building, and fitting out commercial kitchens across the UK for more than 25 years. From restaurants and schools to hospitals and offices, we work closely with our clients to bring their kitchen visions to life.
We're proud to be a family-run business -- not just in name, but in how we treat our team and customers. We believe in doing things properly, treating people with respect, and always going the extra mile to get the job done right.
Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and so is teamwork. We know that our success comes from people working together, supporting each other, and sharing the same goal: to deliver brilliant kitchens that make a real difference to the people who use them.
About the Role
We're looking for a Kitchen Design Manager to join our growing team. This is a key role that involves taking a kitchen project from concept to completion -- working with clients, CAD designers, suppliers, and installers to make sure every detail is right.
You'll play a big part in shaping layouts, selecting equipment, planning installations, and keeping everything running smoothly from start to finish. No two projects are ever the same, and you'll be involved in a bit of everything -- from design reviews and site visits to problem-solving and client updates.
If you enjoy working closely with people, take pride in doing things properly, and have a good understanding of how commercial kitchens work, this could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Be Doing
Talking to clients to understand their kitchen needs and how they work
Working with our in-house CAD team to turn ideas into working kitchen layouts
Helping to choose the right equipment and making sure everything fits and functions
Managing timelines and keeping everyone (clients, contractors, team members) in the loop
Visiting sites to check progress, assess layouts, and support installations
Solving problems as they come up -- and making sure the final result is something we're all proud of
Ensuring everything complies with the right health, safety, and hygiene regulations
What We're Looking For
Experience in commercial kitchen design, project coordination, or a similar role
A good understanding of kitchen equipment and how kitchens are set up
Someone who's confident working with clients and communicating clearly
A strong team player who's happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in
Comfortable working on several projects at once and keeping track of the details
Familiarity with AutoCAD is a bonus, but not essential
A full UK driving licence (some travel to sites will be needed)
What You'll Get from Us
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Company pension scheme
Free on-site parking
A friendly, supportive team where your input really matters
Full support from experienced colleagues and management
Long-term career progression as part of a growing business
The chance to work on a wide range of exciting projects, big and small
