This role is ideal for someone with proven CAD design skills, a strong eye for detail, and a genuine interest in the foodservice and hospitality sector. You'll take projects from initial concept through to completion, producing layouts, specifications, and technical drawings that deliver practical, efficient, and innovative solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed commercial kitchen and foodservice equipment layouts using
Revit and AutoCAD
.
Develop accurate equipment schedules, specifications, and technical documentation aligned with operational requirements and project budgets.
Work closely with consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate foodservice designs within wider construction projects.
Carry out site surveys, gather client requirements, and translate workflows into effective design solutions.
Ensure all designs comply with
health, safety, food hygiene, and building regulation standards
.
Prepare presentation drawings and visualisations for client review and approval.
Support senior designers and project managers with coordination, design reviews, and project delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience with Revit (essential)
.
Strong
CAD design background
, ideally within foodservice, catering, hospitality, or a related design discipline.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills to work confidently with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
A proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach.
Desirable Qualifications / Experience
Degree, HND, or equivalent in
Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
.
Experience in
commercial kitchen design
or foodservice consultancy.
Familiarity with catering equipment suppliers, specifications, and operational kitchen workflows.
Knowledge of health and safety standards, food hygiene regulations, and construction processes.
